The ATEN VC981 is an active Mini‑DisplayPort to HDMI adapter that enables modern computers with Mini‑DP or DP output to connect to HDMI displays. It supports up to 3840×2160 @ 30 Hz and 1920×1200 @ 60 Hz, includes audio passthrough, and uses an internal chip to maintain stable conversion even when the source doesn’t support dual‑mode DisplayPort (DP++). No drivers required—ideal for plug‑and‑play display extension.
